With SATURDAY NIGHT FRIGHT they now enter the Stage at Savoy, presenting a horror film - from cult classics to new releases - once a month, combined with a live podcast (in German!) prior to the movie where trivia and fun facts meet „horrific“ expertise.

Five young people treat themselves to a few days away in a cabin in the woods: Ashley (Bruce Campbell), Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss), Scott (Hal Delrich), Linda (Betsy Baker) and Shelly (Theresa Tilly). But when they find a book and a tape recorder in the cellar of the house, they are drawn into a real nightmare. As they play the tape, the previous occupant of the cottage tells them that the book contains formulas for summoning demons... and even speaks these formulas out loud. The inevitable happens - supernatural forces are unleashed in the forest, leaving the group defenceless. One by one, demons invade the young people, causing them to decimate each other.

Mit SATURDAY NIGHT FRIGHT betreten sie nun die Bühne im Savoy und präsentieren einmal im Monat einen Horrorfilm – von Kultklassikern bis hin zu Neuerscheinungen – kombiniert mit einem Live-Podcast (auf Deutsch!) vor dem Film, in dem Wissenswertes und lustige Fakten auf "schrecklich" Fachwissen treffen.

Fünf junge Menschen gönnen sich ein paar Tage Auszeit in einer Hütte im Wald: Ashley (Bruce Campbell), Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss), Scott (Hal Delrich), Linda (Betsy Baker) und Shelly (Theresa Tilly). Doch als sie im Keller des Hauses ein Buch sowie ein Tonbandgerät finden, werden sie in einen wahren Albtraum hineingezogen. Denn als sie das Band abspielen, berichtet der vorherige Bewohner der Hütte, dass das Buch Formeln zur Beschwörung von Dämonen enthält... und spricht diese Formeln auch noch laut aus. Es kommt, wie es kommen musste - im Wald werden übernatürliche Gewalten entfesselt, denen die Gruppe schutzlos ausgeliefert ist. Nach und nach dringen Dämonen in die Jugendlichen ein und sorgen so dafür, dass diese sich gegenseitig dezimieren.
