A new weekly drop in meditation to start the weekend with mindful intentions. This will be a minimally led meditation sit: for meditators already familiar with the two primary triratna meditation practices (mindfulness of breathing) and (Mettabhavana); starting with a brief 10 minute reflection/preparation, followed by a 40 minute meditation practice. At the end there will be a ten minute opportunity to share or reflect on one’s practice in the group. This weekly sit is a support to establishing and deepening a regular effective meditation practice with the support of a group. There will then be an opportunity for those who want to or don’t need to rush off to have coffee/breakfast in the community centre or nearby cafe together.
