About this Event
Our young dancers enjoy plenty of fun, friendship, and creativity at our classes and events — and this welcoming Saturday morning class is designed especially for dancers who have already completed Level 1 of the RSCDS Medal Tests or equivalent.
Building on their foundations, our older group continue to develop their steps, formations, and dance confidence. Dancers will explore a wider range of Scottish country dances, tackle new challenges, and strengthen their teamwork skills — all in a supportive, enjoyable environment.
What this class offers:
- Progressive teaching for dancers who have completed RSCDS Medal Test Level 1
- Development of technique, formations, musicality, and dance confidence
- Opportunities to work as a team and take part in enjoyable, age-appropriate challenges
- Chances to dance at events, demonstrations, and displays — great for building self-esteem and performance experience
- Optional pathways to continue working toward Graded Medal Tests, certified by the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS)
Our classes follow the regular school terms, with a friendly atmosphere that encourages young dancers to grow, be creative, and feel proud of their achievements.

Children and young people who have already completed RSCDS Medal Test Level 1 and are ready to further their skills, meet new friends, and enjoy the fun of Scottish country dancing at the next level.
