Last year The Ark and St Laurence won a massive lottery grant to continue completion and restoration of this iconic venue.Saturday September 13th will be their Heritage Day to celebrate the latest phase, the restoration of the Church tower. There will be a day of festivities from 11:00am with a talk and Tango demo by Andy and Clare in the Church 1:00-1:30pm. Please come and join in if you are local.
Top of the bill will be our Milonga 7:00-10:45Pm with DJ Andy Adamson back in the hot seat.
Our special August event with Michael Lavocah showed that there is a much wider community of Tango dancers who love to join our events. The popularity of this event brought us close to capacity numbers. We have notional ceiling in our head to ensure comfortable dancing (much lower than the licenced number)
For this event there will be an advanced booking discount just so we know how many cakes to make! 🍰!
