Gravel RideWhen: Saturday, December 13
Time: 10:30 am
Start: Dogwood/Jubilee
Route: Rain or shine: Dogwood/Jubilee - Elk Lake Main-Beaver Tail-return-Island Grind Coffee
Join Shawn on a 50K Route heading to Beaver Tail Lake and returning for coffee at the Island Grind.
Meet at the cleared area off Jubilee at the end of Dogwood.
**please read the directions below and email confirmation of a waiver if you are not a club member** note that non-members can only attend 2 events by signing waivers after that you must be a club member to join.
*Due to insurance restrictions, riders must be 19yrs of age or older & throttle assist E-bikes are not permitted*
RIDER RESPONSIBILITIES:
•You should be able to ride gravel road for 4 hrs
•Your bike must be mechanically sound (if not, pop into one of our sponsor shops)
•Show up for the ride 5 minutes early to prepare your bike and introduce yourself to the ride leader
•Be prepared for rides. Make sure to bring:
•Helmet (No Helmet, No Ride)
•Water
•Snacks
•Repair kit (tools, extra tube, pump)
•Online Waiver for NON-members
(No Waiver Confirmation, No Ride)
•No Drops Policy! All riders are expected to keep tabs on the rider behind them. Be patient, wait for others, and be prepared to look for and help injured or lost riders. We are all responsible for each others' safety
•Make any concerns or issues known to the rider leader (injuries, abilities, time constraints, fatigue, etc.)
NON/SUPPORTING MEMBERS CAN JOIN 2 RIDES:
Fill out an online waiver. Confirmation can be forwarded to [email protected] or print the confirmation and bring it to the ride.
