About this Event
Join our resident potter Sharon Giles for this 2-week ceramic handbuilding course. In the first session you'll be guided to make a pinch and coil pot. In the second session you'll use a slab building technique to create another pot (or if you're really feeling adventurous, Sharon can help you to create something different!). Glaze your pieces with a choice of glazes and then they'll be fired and ready for collection in around 2 weeks (we'll let you know when they're ready).
This is a small class with a maximum 6 people, held in our dedicated pottery studio at Arc at Hat Works.
By booking you will be automatically enrolled onto both sessions. Course dates are Saturday 4th and 11th May, 10.30 - 13.30. Please ensure that you can attend both session before booking, as alternative dates / times can't be offered.
Hat Works Cafe will be open and serving delicious baked treats, drinks, soup and toasties for you to enjoy and you are welcome to explore our exhibition and retail collection.
Ticket price includes all equipment and materials.
