? The monthly HSA bachata parties are NOW here. This is the first installment of the Fall 2023 bachata parties. Featuring a fun Bachata Jack & Jill competition, DJ Laurent & DJ Anton (From the Helsinki Bachata Gala).
?? With the price of the admission you can enter to the super fun Jack & Jill bachata competition. This is a fun social dance competitio. You do not need a partner to register. This is of course completely optional, but we highly recommend for you to try it out. First 3 winner couples will win a FULL PASS to HSA mini-festival on November 24th - 25th (Full pass valued at 100e+)

JACK & JILL COMPETITION RULES
Student Competition rules are as follows. You have to be a dance student to compete. If you have been teaching dancing for money you are not allowed to compete. Occasional random teaching is ok, but if you have been teaching regular group bachata, salsa or latin dance classes, you are disqualified. This competition is meant for all levels of salsa students.
1ST ROUND / In the first round you will be randomly paired up with a leader / follower. You do not need a partner to participate. Everyone participates as an individual. Once you have been randomly paired up with a partner the judges will judge your individual dancing and will select 6 leaders and 6 followers for the round 2.
2ND ROUND / On the second round you will again be randomly paired up with a partner. This time you will be judged as a couple on your improvisational skills, timing, technique, and ability to have fun and improvise with the music. 3 couples will be selected to the round 3.
3RD ROUND / If you are selected to the round 3 you will now stay with your partner. In this round you will be dancing to random song. Each couple will dance and you will be judged this time again as a couple. The final winner will be selected by the audience (not the judges) based on the amount of cheers and claps each couple will get.
All couples whom make it to the final will receive a FREE FULL PASS to the HSA mini- salsa & bachata festival on November 24th - 25th.
To participate simply let us know at the HSA lobby front desk when you enter to the party or let us know when you register to the party online. We will have everything ready for you.
?Directions to our location:
Our studio is located at Hankasuontie 3, Konala. There are plenty of FREE parking spots on the street or you can leave and use the customer parking by the building. Our studio entrance is located on the left side of the building. There is Konan Gym & Musti & Mirri in the same building. You should first find a "glass box" with a door on the left side of the building and then enter in and come to the 2nd floor.
❗️Please leave your outdoor shoes on the 1st floor shoe racks. Come to the second floor with socks or danceshoes only.
