The first Satarah fire workshops of 2022 are going to happen on February 5th! Starting at 4:30 and going to 9:15, we will cover safety, beginning fire eating, more advanced fire eating and vapor skills and fire fan tech and choreo. Each workshops (except the free fire safety workshop) is $40. Please wear natural fiber clothing and have the option to put your hair back, if you are able.
Masks are required to attend. We will be taking them off as needed for the skills we are working on.
Schedule:
4:30 - Fire Safety - FREE CLASS FOR EVERYONE INTERESTED and required for people taking the following classes. If you've already taken this class with us in the past, you do not have to take it again.
5 - Beginning Fire Eating - Learn to eat fire in a safe and fun environment. If you've taken this class before, you will have a chance to expand on your knowledge and skills.
6:30 - Transfers, Fleshing & Vapor Skills - Learn how to use fuel to transfer flame on your own flesh and between your torch and your skin. Also learn transfers and other tricks using your fuel's vapor. We will have some torches available if you have your own, please bring them. We will also have them available for sale, if you'd like.
7:45 - Fire Fan Tech & Choreo - The art of dancing with fire fans is intriguing and exciting! In this 90 minute workshop, Sarah will take the class through the basic shapes of fire fan tech before then teaching a short choreography, utilizing those shapes. If you already have your own fans, please bring them. We have a limited supply of practice fans and fire fans. You will light up fans before this workshop is over!
