Sashiko Stitching With TOAST Repair Specialist

Join us at TOAST Brooklyn where our Repair specialist will teach you how to mend with the Sashiko stitching method.

Sashiko, meaning “little stabs” in Japanese, is a technique that reinforces clothing with embroidered patches. In this workshop, a TOAST Repair specialist will guide you through the process, teaching you how to mend small holes or tears yourself.

Please feel free to bring any item you wish to repair, or practise on some remnant fabrics.

This workshop is free to attend and open to all skill levels.
