Welcome to Embroidery Social
A workshop for people who’ve never threaded a needle or those who can already sew blindfolded. This time, we’re exploring the art of Sashiko embroidery — the Japanese stitching style that’s equal parts meditative and mesmerizing. You’ll create your own piece, even if you didn’t know “Sashiko” was a thing until just now.
With only 10 spots available, you’ll join other women looking to put the phone down and spend a calm, creative afternoon surrounded by good energy.
The Afternoon Feels Like
The workshop takes place at Buzz, temple bar, Dublin2. You’ll walk in to gentle music, the comforting smell of tea and cake, and a table scattered with beautiful fabrics, needles, and thread. A slightly obsessed embroidery lady will greet you with a smile, show you your materials, and before you know it — you’re stitching, chatting, and laughing for two hours straight.
