Come celebrate your family, freinds and community members as they particiapte in the first ever Sashay & Slay Showcase featuring dance and drag performances.
Sashay & Slay is a 10 week dance series instructed by Sasha Tease through the City of Kitchener. The program is designed to teach queer folks, with an interest in drag, the basic principles of performance and to help them become more comfortable with the dance elements of drag. The participants have learned 3 choreographed groups numbers that they are excited to perform for you. Some participants are eager for more opportunities to perform, so expect some solo numbers as well!
Hosted by Sasha Tease. Free to attend. Open to all ages.
Doors open at 6:30. Performances from 7-8 with a short reception after.
