About this Event
Celebrate World AIDS Day with SASHA Center’s "What Your Mama Didn’t Tell You: The Protection Talk." This engaging event highlights the impact of HIV on African American women, offering open and honest conversations about protection, health, and awareness.
Featuring Paula Sirls, Kalimah Johnson, Christina Perkins, and Elizabeth Rembert, these inspiring speakers will explore the challenges, stigma, and empowerment surrounding HIV in the Black community.
Get ready for a special make-up tutorial by The Glamdoctor Rashida Williams, including a full glam session for six lucky attendees, emphasizing beauty as self-care. Plus, Coco the Comedian will host with humor and style, while professional photography by Nicole Allen will capture the moment—including exclusive headshots for 15 attendees.
It’s more than just a talk—it’s a movement. Join us in raising awareness and building a stronger community.
