As we continue to grow the sport of SwimRun in the Vancouver area we invite all area endurance athletes to come out to Sasamat Park and try at this incredible event. At a distance of 23K, this course is built to give you the true swimrun experience, with the top male and top female being crowned B.C. Champion.
Our Fresh and Salty is the ultimate swimrun event. With a freshwater swim in Sasamat Lake, followed by a run to Belcarra Park, and some saltwater swimming before finishing back at Sasamat Lake. One of the most unique events in the world and a B.C. Original!
We will be offering 2 distances, 23 KM Long Course, and 10KM Short Course for Mudskippers
Please note the Maps are being updated with a course change. These will be released soon.
ALSO,,, we will be hosting our Open Water Swim only event, consisting of 3 distances, 1 km, 3 km and 5km in beautiful Sasamat Lake. Lake temperatures vary between 16 C to 20C depending on how the season goes.
