*SARAHS, ST PATRICKS DAY CHARITY SHINDIG*So, a few weeks ago, Dee Baron rang me and asked if we could host a charity event in memory of her best friend Sarah Towers, who sadly passed away in October 2024. For those that knew Sarah, they will know that St Patricks day was to be celebrated by having a good time and making memories. It only seems fitting that we'll do just that, and remember Sarah in a way that she would have wished, whilst raising funds for the East Lancs Hospice, who were amazing and so supportive to Sarah and her beautiful family.
As a tribute to Sarah I will doing an Irish disco, charity bingo and other 'fun' raising games on the day. We will also provide a complimentary Stables spread. Donations will be kindly accepted. Dee, in the meantime would be very grateful for any raffle prizes or donations, all of which can be dropped in at the Abbey or Th'Owd Stables.
