A little more about Sarah-Jo.
Sarah-Jo Bramfit is an upcoming singer-songwriter who released her debut EP ‘Dotted Lines’ earlier this year. With her first gig singing at her Uncle’s wedding at the age of three, Sarah-Jo has a life-long passion for music.
A multidisciplinary artist, Sarah-Jo studied both jazz (Victorian College of the Arts) and acting (Actors Centre Australia) placing her in a unique musical sphere. Storytelling is at the heart of her performances and her large catalogue of original songs showcase Sarah-Jo’s flair for rich lyricism and captivating melodies.
Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones, Sarah-Jo’s sound isn’t tethered to a specific genre butrather hovers along the boundaries of pop music. Jazz, rock and country elements are woven through her songs, each carried by Sarah-Jo’s enchanting soprano voice. Romantic, whimsical and at times melancholic Sarah-Jo possesses a powerful stage presence that is uniquely her own.
