Mezzotint Printing in the Gallery - Demonstration and Meet the Artist
This event is free, however please book as spaces are limited.
Sarah Gillespie will be printing one of her stunning mezzotint moth prints in the gallery. Mezzotint is one of the oldest methods of printmaking. Sarah will explain how she makes the engravings while she prints a very limited special edition of her recent ’Nut-tree Tussock Moth’. This beautiful print will be available to buy and a donation will be made to the charity ‘Plantlife’ in memory of the late Dr. John Kirkup.
