About the Artist:
Maine-based musician Aaron Bear crafts soulful, jammy, conscious folk music guided by loving intentionality and the belief that music is medicine. His “future-folk” sound blends emotionally reflective lyrics with influences gathered from his Appalachian Pennsylvania roots and a decade of nomadic performances across the US and internationally.
Themes of resilience, spirituality, love, and connection permeate his work, including his 2024 collaborative EP Grateful Good Times and singles like “ancient”, "Bearfoot Trains" and "Lessons". A 2022 and 2024 New England Music Award nominee, Bear has become a pillar in the regional music scene by actively building community through collaboration. He hosts the Sundown Sessions, a live music residency in Bridgton, ME focused on collaborative performances and new artist showcases. His captivating performances reflect a powerful journey of resilience and a deep commitment to fostering belonging.
