EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Bring binoculars and a snack or lunch so you can stay and explore the nature area after the presentation.
At the Nature Center we will enjoy a program to learn about local animals and the native Tongva people who used to live here. Our guide will teach us a little about them and teach us some words in Tongva. The students will also make a craft related to an animal native to the area. After the craft, you may explore the natural area nearby.

There is always a possibility that, due to circumstances beyond our control, an event may be cancelled. If this happens, you will be contacted.

The Event Listing may be "publicly" viewable; HOWEVER, the event is only for HOMESCHOOL students in the 12th grade and below. Parents/guardians must accompany all minors. Our events are NOT "Drop-off" events. Adults must sign-up with a student. We do not offer an "Adult Only" option for our Events.

By signing up and attending a field trip/event, you UNDERSTAND and AGREE that there is a possibility that you, or a member of group, may have their photo/video taken at the event by others present, AND as such that image may be viewed in public.
