Join me in bringing some Christmas Cheer to the day and shaking out the holiday stress with a run, walk or Bike in Sanford dressed up as Santa or Mrs. Claus! Wear your bells, beards, boots... bring your elves or reindeer even! And run or walk Main Street. Make your way to Frannie's Mini Donuts and enjoy a complimentary and coffee with your fellow Santa's!
You can start your activity anytime, and go any distance anywhere in town (though hitting Main St at some point will be fun!). Frannie's will be open for Santa's to fuel up for free from 11am to 12pm!
Anyone wanting to do a group run or walk can meet me at Number One Pond near the roundabout at 10:30. We will go around the pond, to the trail by the dog park, taking the trail to the YMCA then to the Middle School and up to Main Street. We will then follow Main Street to Frannie's... roughly a 5k (I'll check actual mileage before the event!).
Others can form their own group run/walks/rides coming from other locations in town! Who is IN?
*** This is not a race, or an organized event sponsored by an organization .... just folks getting outside to spread some cheer and meeting up after (if they want!). All normal rules of the road, caution while running, and safety should be observed. ***
