Join us for Santa’s Christmas Village on Saturday, December 13th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.!
Begin your festive stroll through Historic Jonesborough at the Jonesborough Visitors Center, located at 117 Boone Street. Enjoy a day filled with holiday fun, including crafts, children’s activities, the Santa Mart, games, and more!
The Santa Mart is a special place where kids can shop for friends and family, with all gifts priced at just $1. Sponsored by Andrew Johnson Bank of Jonesborough, this holiday tradition lets little shoppers experience the joy of giving.
Free gift wrapping for Santa Mart purchases will be provided by the David Crockett Civinettes inside the Visitors Center auditorium.
Other activities at the Visitors Center include crafts and popcorn at Frosty’s Top Shop, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Jonesborough and the Daniel Boone High School Key Club, plus plenty of other fun, free crafts!
Meet Santa and drop off wish list letters in Santa’s Mailbox by the Courthouse. Children who include a return address and drop off their letters by December 17th will receive a reply from Santa by Christmas!
As you shop along Main Street, enjoy holiday music and take advantage of free gift wrapping for downtown purchases at the International Storytelling Center.
While you’re there, browse for handmade holiday gifts from local artisans at the Christmas Marketplace, located on the plaza at the Storytelling Center. Inside, kids can enjoy free face painting by Judy Butterfly.
Treat yourself to delicious food and sweets from local food trucks on the west side of the Courthouse, and don’t forget to support our wonderful downtown restaurants, including Main Street Café, Jackson’s Prime, Opossum’s Tale, Buzzed Wings, and Boone Street Market.
The festivities continue that evening with the Jonesborough Lighted Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. The parade will travel through the festively decorated Historic District, from Boone Street to Main Street.
