25 years ago Jody Franklin brought members of the original San Francisco Cacophony Society to Vancouver to inject this city with chaos and mirth to celebrate “a post modern revival of the ancient Roman holiday of Saturnalia”
It has since evolved into a worldwide movement that mocks the commercialization of the holidays. (Mostly)
Cacophonista, Burners, and Pranksters, be creative, chaotic, and silly.

- Be a capitalist pig dabbling in the “sweet and naughty “ by cross dressing as a Marxist Leninist and redistribute candy canes 🍭 to the unjolly.
