Santa Claus will be coming to many of the neighborhoods of Deer Run on Tuesday, December 5th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.As many of you know, the City of Casselberry does their own municipal Santa Run for four nights each December. However, they do not come into Deer Run proper beyond visiting Hunter's Chase and Field Club as these are the only neighborhoods in the subdivision that are within the city limits. We know this has had many children and families disappointed each year. So, for the third year in a row, we are hoping to spread some holiday cheer as we sponsor the 3rd Annual Santa Run's Deer Run.
Santa will be escorted by a fire engine from SCFD and a couple of cruisers from the sheriff's department. We have a few cars of elves that will be tossing candy along our route.
The exact route will be published on the Save Deer Run website and social media closer to the date of the event. Listen for the tunes of holiday music, fire and police sirens, and Santa Claus as he ho, ho, hos across Eagle Circle. We will not be visiting every single road in Deer Run, but we will be visiting major roads in a majority of the non-gated neighborhoods located off Eagle Circle tossing candy and dog treats as we go.
