The City of Carrollton will host the annual Santa on the Square event from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, December 7 in Historic Downtown Carrollton (1106 S. Broadway).Santa will be out late to help light up the Square and spread some holiday cheer. He will bring along toy soldier stilt walkers and one of his prize reindeer as well.
So, grab those stockings and a Santa hat for a fun and festive outing that will have the little ones laughing with glee. Enjoy the lights, stop by for some facepainting, ride on a trackless train around the Downtown Carrollton Square, and have fun with holiday crafts.
Come for the official tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. and then experience the awe of Carrollton’s 175-drone light display presented by Sky Elements Drone Shows.
Don’t forget to visit all the family photo op areas. Snap a photo with a live reindeer or the 20-foot decorated tree. And, as always, there will be a photo station for Santa. Visit the Downtown merchants to complete that holiday gift shopping for friends and family.
Remember to send in letters for Santa to the North Pole beginning Friday, November 22 through Sunday, December 1, and during the event on December 7. Santa placed a special mailbox in Downtown Carrollton to make sure he receives all requests.
Santa on the Square is sponsored by Raising Cane’s® Chicken Fingers, CoServ®, and Dallas Medical Center.
