Santa Fe Community College announces the Santa Fe Creative Coding Initiative (SFCCI) will present its second SFCCI Student Showcase, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10 at the Santa Fe Higher Education Center, 1950 Siringo Road. The event is free and open to the public.SFCCI is a community partnership, providing challenge-based learning opportunities in digital creativity and coding to learners and educators throughout Santa Fe, with support from Apple’s Community Education Initiative. Since the launch of SFCCI, more than 1500 students have participated.
The SFCCI Student Showcase will spotlight content produced by students working with SFCCI during this school year. SFCCI has learning labs at Santa Fe High School, Milagro Middle School, 21st Century Learning Elementary Schools, Santa Fe Community College, and Santa Fe Indian School. Other key partners include STEM Santa Fe and the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Fe.
The 2025 Student Showcase features projects from all SFCCI partners, some highlights include:
“La Fonda Experience” Art Curation App
Santa Fe from a Youth Perspective Film, produced for City of Santa Fe/Sister Cities International
Over a dozen App Prototypes by 21st Century Learning elementary students.
