Join Santa Cruz Public Works for a relaxed, drop-in Open House where you can explore infrastructure projects happening across the city and connect directly with the people behind them.

- Westlake Elementary School
Designed as a walk-around event, this open house gives you the chance to drop in, explore displays, and have real conversations with staff. Stop by anytime to explore project displays, maps, and photos, and have one-on-one conversations with engineers, project managers, and Commissioners.
Public Works touches daily life in more ways than you might realize, from transportation and safety improvements to stormwater systems, wastewater treatment, energy initiatives, and refuse and recycling programs.
You’ll be able to:
- Learn what’s planned near you.
- Understand how projects are funded and prioritized.
- Ask questions directly to subject-matter experts.
- Share your ideas and feedback.
Registration is encouraged but not required. Community members are welcome to simply drop in anytime between 6 and 7:30 p.m.
