About this Event
The tour is designed to showcase some of the many historic houses in Santa Clara, while demonstrating how they can be preserved and restored to become unique, comfortable homes for a family in the 21st century.
This year we also have the Santa Clara Railroad complex on the tour: The Santa Clara Railroad Depot/Car will be open for both Friday and Saturday. The Control Tower will ONLY be open on Saturday for tours.
On Sunday bring all the kids to theThe Harris-Lass Museum open house from 12 noon - 2pm.
The homes on the tour are typically decorated for the holidays. Docents in each provide information about the house and the families who once lived there. Musicians will be at each house for your enjoyment.
Decide which homes you would like to see first! Your tickets are good for both days, Friday and Saturday. You can view the homes in any order and over both days if you wish. And make time to take advantage of the Santa Clara railroad Depot/car. Saturday is the only day the Control tower will be open. At all sites our docents will guide you in small groups, and share information about the home or location you are touring.
Our video shows an example of type of information shared on the home tours.
