Please join us at the WAA monthly meeting for a demonstration from artist Sandy Sasser. Sandy started her artistic journey with a major in advertising art from Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. Like many artists, her creative life traveled through a career in Real Estate and Mortgage, a stint with crafting, senior art classes and new passion for painting. Her study has been influenced by many artists like Albert Handel, De Gillett, Cody Hooper Gary Jenkins, and long time art traveling buddy and mentor, Ruth Francis. Never one afraid to think outside the box, Sandy offers her unique style of painting with acrylic and oils, both together and separately. As she puts it,” You have to get out of your head and into the mode to paint.
