Sunday, November 23, 8pm! This is a very exciting show we have coming up!!! Tabletop guitar genius Sandy Ewen @sandyewen and drummer par excellence Weasel Walter @weasel_walter are coming in to town! Joined by our very own local great, the bassist Damon Smith @newmusicbass, this will be a wild set full of dazzling musicianship. I’m getting an 20,000 megawatt jolt just imagining it. ⚡️
The second set will bring the legendary trumpeter and cornetist George Sams, the legendary poet K Curtis Lyle, and local improvising guitarist Danny Pankratz @dannypandanny together for the first time. George Sams and K Curtis Lyle are can’t-miss, two of the most important artists St. Louis has ever known. With Danny Pankratz bringing nylon string guitar to the mix, this should prove to be a very interesting, rewarding set.
And then finally, a sextet bringing all six together will conclude the show.
