Our recruitment event is a fantastic opportunity to explore the LSA roles available across the Sandwell College Group. We’re looking for individuals from all backgrounds - whether you’ve worked in care, support or teaching assistance before, or are completely new to the field!

Time: 3pm - 7pm
Where: 13 Bennetts Hill, Birmingham B2 5RS
- Easily accessible by train via Birmingham New Street or Birmingham Snowhill stations.
- Paid parking is available at Birmingham Snowhill Train Station.
What to expect
The event will involve an introduction to the Sandwell College Group, an insight into the benefits of joining the team, and an opportunity to participate in first-stage interviews. There will also be a selection of free refreshments to enjoy throughout the event.
Vacancies
Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Key Duties:
- Support learners in Maths and English, both 1:1 and in small groups, helping develop core skills.
- Collaborate with Learning Support Manager, lecturers, and vocational tutors to track and report student progress, implement support plans, and ensure correct support.
- Assist with personal care tasks, supervise learners during non-class times, and manage transport arrangements for learners with mobility difficulties.
- Promote student independence and well-being, liaise with parents and professionals, use assistive technology, and undertake essential training.
There are multiple positions available across Sandwell College, Saint Michael's Sixth Form, and Cadbury College.
