About the show:
Following last year’s breathtaking tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, the incomparable Sandra Dudley returns to the NJW Cave for another swingin’ evening, honoring some of the most influential jazz voices of the 20th century. In celebration of Women’s Month, Dudley will bring her signature elegance and artistry to songs made famous by the legendary Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae, and Ella Fitzgerald.
About the artist:
A beloved figure in Nashville’s jazz scene and a celebrated educator, Dudley’s rich vocals and deep connection to the music make her the perfect interpreter of these timeless classics. Backed by an outstanding trio featuring Lori Mechem on piano, Roger Spencer on bass, and Marcus Finnie on drums, this performance will swing, soothe, and captivate as it pays tribute to the Great American Songbook and the women who helped define jazz history.
Join us for an evening of soulful storytelling, impeccable musicianship, and a celebration of the voices that continue to inspire generations.
