ABOUT HORIZON DEEP SKY OBSERVATION SITE:

Our location is based 3 hours away from Mumbai.

Horizon Deep Sky Event aims for objects which are not generally seen by naked eyes but needs professional telescopes with expert guidance to see and understand such objects. Our sessions and Events are for all age from school students to working professionals. Join our dark sky Location at Sandan Valley for an incredible experience of the Night Sky.

• 12:24 PM Assembly Outside Kasara Station for Taking Pick-Up to Sandhan Valley

• 04:30 PM - Check in at Deep Sky Campsite Samrad Campsite

• 05:00 PM – Exploring the Site and Evening Chai-Nashta

• 06:30 PM - Introduction to Astronomy Understanding the Night Sky and the Flow of the Events Overnight

• 07:00 PM – Observation of Saturn and it's Ring, Jupiter and It’s Satellite, beautiful Clusters, Nebulae, Binary Stars and much more with our Large Telescopes.

• 08:00 PM - Identification of Pole Star Constellations Nakshatras and Zodiac Signs

• 09:00 PM - Dinner Break

• 10:30 PM – Astronomy Discussions and Talks. Special Topics on Astronomy

• 11:30 PM - Stargazing for Deep Sky Messier Objects

• 12:10 AM – Tea Break

• 01:00 AM - Astrophotography and Light Painting Workshop from Cellphone Camera as well as DSLR. Bringing your Cellphone / DSLR Tripod is necessary if you are interested to learn Astrophotography.

• 02:00 AM to 04:30 AM - Fun Games and Interactive Session and Talk with our Experts. Participants who want to Rest/Sleep are free to do so during this time

• 04:30 AM - Early Morning Stargazing when Sky has Changed & new Objects can be viewed.

• 07:30 AM – Short hike to Sandhan Valley and Rappelling down a 100ft natural wall

• 10:00 AM Packing your bags with memories of a Night Full of Stars

Disclaimer Terms and Conditions:

1. Alcohol Smoking or any kind of intoxication is strictly prohibited at our premises. You will be asked to leave for such behaviour.

2. Weather conditions are not in our hands. In case of Cloudy weather or any natural or Man-Made calamities refund will not be provided. Alternate Plans or In-door Activities are done in case of sudden climate change during event.

3. Stay will be provided in Tent. Allocation of Tents will be on 2/3 person sharing basis. If you want 1 tent by yourself you will have to pay additional 500 rs for the same. Inform Organiser 3 days Prior for a Private Tent.

4. If you are interested in Wide Field Astrophotography kindly carry Tripod for your Cell phone/DSLR.

5. We shall not take responsibility for Loss of Personal belongings and/or Life. By taking this Ticket you agree to all Terms and Conditions.

6. We do not Provide any kind of Insurance health or Life

7. This is not a Leisure Event/Activity you will be out of your comfort zone you are requested to be prepared mentally and come to the Event.
