S&DR200 Presents: Anniversary JourneyCome and celebrate the culmination of the S&DR200 festival at Hopetown Darlington on 27th September 2025.
The replica Locomotion No.1 will be returning to the birthplace of passenger railways to re-enact that infamous journey from 200 years ago across Skerne Bridge.
John Street Car Park* will be transformed into the perfect celebratory viewing area for spectators to watch this spectacular event.
Entry is from 10am, and we advise being in position by 11.30am for the viewing of Locomotion No. 1 crossing the Skerne Bridge.
Book your free tickets to the Anniversary Journey viewing area as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Once they're gone, they're gone.
