The 7th Anniversary Sand Key OWS Series will consist of 2 Races:
2 – May 11, 2024
Join us at beautiful Sand Key Park for Open Water races of various distances.
Swim will starts at 8:30 AM
No cutoff time for any distance
1/2 Mile Swim
1.2 Mile Swim
2.4 Mile Swim
3.1 Mile Swim
If you are an experienced open water swimmer, a pool swimmer looking for a new challenge, or training for a Sprint-Tri, 70.3 or 140.6 – you will enjoy the challenge and the beauty of Sand Key Park.
Come out and swim with some of the best swimmers in the Tampa Bay Area.
Timeline*
7:00 PARK OPENS
7:00-7:45 PAY FOR YOUR PARKING (sorry they don’t do the passes anymore, but don’t forget to pay, is only $5)
7:40 and 8:05 SHUTTLING PEOPLE TO THE 5K and 2.4 DISTANCES.
1.2 and 1/2 mile swimmers can start walking to the start.
8:30 RACE STARTS (ALL OF THE DISTANCES SWIM TOWARDS THE FINISH LINE, BETWEEN THE ORANGE BUOYS)
10:30/10:45 AWARDS
10:55 clean up
