A talented portion of the Springfield Youth Symphony will be appearing at High Street United Methodist Church for the Sunday, April 13, Sanctuary Series. Live Wire, consisting of youth chamber music ensembles, will be displaying their musical skills at 3:00 PM. The talented Live Wire musicians have been a recurring act at Sanctuary Series events as the performers can play in a small setting. Whether woodwind, clarinet, strings or percussion, these chamber music ensembles are always an audience favorite. A reception for attendees and musicians will follow the performance.The Sanctuary Series offers a variety of entertainment including concerts in various music genres performed by local and area artists. Performances are held at historic High Street United Methodist Church, 230 E. High Street, at 3:00 PM. Admission is free, with a voluntary collection taken to cover the cost of the series.
