My Friend Chloe
My Friend Chloe (MFC) are a tenacious five-piece post punk project erupting out of Meanjin.
With an ever-growing community showing up for consistently packed-out shows since their formation in early 2023, MFC are making some serious waves in the river city and beyond. The band has supported the notoriously chaos-rendering band PRIVATE FUNCTION twice and are opening for the legendary Buzzcocks at the Triffid this October. MFC recorded their much loved debut single Sunny Times in the Sunshine State with 2x ARIA award winning producer Cody McWaters and its launch at The Bearded Lady sold out a full month in advance.
The excitement surrounding MFC has been developed predominantly through word of mouth of their live show, which creates an experience that taps into the abundant and fractured minefield of human emotion - from torment, apathy, grief, to presence, joy, and excitement. Grab a ticket whilst you can!

Sir Lennon is one of Meanjin’s hottest up and coming bands bringing the heat with their soulful jazz-pop fusions drawing inspiration from the likes of Silk Sonic all the way to Thundercat. An unmissable set overflowing with energy and world-class groove.
General Folly
General Folly is a fem-fronted aus-punk four-piece dwelling deep down in the lively streets of Brisbane. Their high-energy, fast-paced tunes about nothing will put you in the mood to party!! The gangly bunch take their inspiration from bands like "amyl and the sniffers", "hole" & "L7". Given the opportunity they will leave your ears ringing for days, so don't forget to wear protection.
