A Community-Driven Initiative to Protect and Care for Abandoned Cats
THE VISION
No animal should be left to suffer alone. Sanctuary Paws is not just a shelter—it’s a promise. By 2026, this sanctuary will provide a safe haven for St. Catharines’ abandoned and stray cats, offering medical care, food, and a second chance at finding a loving home.
THE WHY

EVENT STRUCTURE
(A Non-Traditional Fundraiser)
1. THE BLUEPRINT TOUR (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Interactive Walkthrough: Experience 3D models and VR simulations of the future sanctuary.
- Meet the Experts: Q&A with veterinarians, animal welfare advocates, and architects designing feline-friendly spaces.
2. COMMUNITY PLEDGE CEREMONY (1:00 PM – 2:30 PM)
- Live Commitments: Local businesses and donors publicly announce their support (e.g., "The Johnson Family pledges 500 bowls of food").
