🔥 The oldest half marathon in Texas — it has to be good.
Formerly known as Moe’s Better Half, this legendary race has been around longer than some of us (yeesh 😄) — and for good reason. The San MARVELOUS Half Marathon winds through open prairie landscapes and serves up those infamous rolling hills that make Hill Country racing so memorable.
The race starts and finishes at the Tanger Outlet Mall, where the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. This is Scallywompus, after all — expect a high-energy, post-race celebration that lives up to our motto: “Come for the race, stay for the party!” 🎉
Perfectly located between San Antonio and Austin, San Marcos offers plenty to keep the good times rolling — cold drinks 🍻, Tex-Mex 🌮, live music 🎶, shopping 🛍️, and all-around Hill Country vibes. Make it a day. Make it a weekend.

- Race Morning – 6:30 AM until your race start, at the start line
