About this Event

Doors open at 7:00pm. Show starts at 7:30!

3 One Act Plays:

Corner by Anh Le. Directed by Anh Le. Corner follows a young girl named Arina who has to drive after the trauma of her mother dying in a car crash. She is accompanied by her witty best friend, and nitpicky older sister. The three go through a lot together, and the fact Arina can hear the ghost of her mother doesn't help! Will they make it on this long drive? Or will fear get the best of Arina?

M**der by Investigation by Laura Kerharo. Directed by Matt Locke. M**der by Investigation is a twist on the classic Agatha Christie-esque M**der mystery. It deals with themes of illusion and flawed justice. It follows a young detective in the 1950s at a casual dinner party with her boyfriend and his friends. When two dinner guests are murdered, she must solve the crime before it's too late. The ending recontextualizes the one-act, forcing the audience to rethink everything they have watched thus far and contemplate the very format of the classic who-dunnit.

A Matter of Time by Michael Muszynski. Directed by Remington Greathouse. A Matter of Time is a short play that follows the story of two men, Coward and Turncoat, who are fighting a duel. Coward challenged Turncoat to get revenge for years of injustice and slander caused by his cousin Turncoat since childhood. After years of reflection and isolation from each other, they reunite for the final duel, only to find each other as changed men. Within a frostbitten forest, the duel ensues but takes a slight turn from what was expected.
