Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Flex & Part-time Day/Swing Customer Service Officers in the San Jose area. The Hiring Event will be held on Friday, March 28,2025 from 10:00AM - 2:00PM. The positions offer a pay rate of $27/hr & up - with weekly pay.

Requirements:
- CA Guard Card/ 40hr Certification preferred
- Must have Power to Arrest & Weapon of Mass Destruction Certificate
- CPR certification preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and more than - 4 years of driving experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Speak English fluently, read and comprehend English, and be able to compose coherent written reports in English.
- Those with law enforcement, military, or security experience encouraged to attend
- Responsibilities: Welcoming, checking in, and directing visitors in a highly visible and customer service-oriented environment. - - Provide exceptional customer service by upholding our standards in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
Natural composure and an infectious attitude towards arising issues with the ability to adapt quickly and develop practical solutions with minimal supervision. Prepare all required written reports in an ongoing and timely manner, including but not limited to: Daily Activity Reports (DAR’s) and Incident Reports, Operating phones, radios, and computer systems such as MAC IOS, Microsoft Office 365, and Google suites. Monitoring Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and alarm panels for emergencies and potential issues. Following site-specific post orders, passing down messages, and being in compliance with employee handbook guidelines at all times. Conduct interior and exterior patrols within an office, and industrial complex.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
