It’s not an awkward speed-dating session. Our goal is to help you practice and improve your English or Spanish conversation skills with SINGLES and receive authentic feedback. You never know, perhaps you’ll meet another interesting SINGLE just like you!
We don’t believe in love matching algorithms, we don’t believe in awkward speed dating, and we don’t believe in swiping endlessly on dating apps without ever meeting in person. We believe in natural conversation and genuine chemistry. In the worst-case scenario, you’ll improve your Spanish and English skills, make new friends, and become part of a cool startup in the Bay Area that strives to create real connections and expand your circle of friends and professional network.

This meetup is designed for you to practice SPANISH or ENGLISH with up to 7 other SINGLE STRANGERS at each table. There’s no supervision, no host, and no boring program, everything flows naturally according to your table’s dynamics. However, our founder, Marilyn, will be nearby in case you need extra assistance or if your group is feeling shy and needs help breaking the ice.
Our goal is to grow this community every week with more SINGLES, so we can all have the opportunity to practice and improve together in real-life situations, with real questions and real feedback, learning more vocabulary from different kinds of people, while meeting new people both online (on our private social network, TheHumanTeam.org) and in person at bars around the Bay Area.
