About this Event
Join our four-hour instructional photo tour of downtown San Francisco photographing iconic locations such as the Embarcadero, Bay Bridge, Transamerica Pyramid, and Coit Tower.
We’ll walk approximately 1.6 miles from the Ferry Building to Coit Tower. Reza, your instructor, will help you compose postcard-quality photos of one of the world's most famous cities as well as show you a few secrets that'll help you take great street/urban photos.

We encourage you to take public transit to the Ferry Building. If you are taking BART, get off at the Embarcadero and then walk to the Ferry Building. The walk is not round-trip. Bus 39 departs every 20 minutes to Fisherman’s Wharf, which will connect with Muni that will take you back to the Ferry Building. If you have time, we recommend you take what you learned from the hike and photograph at the Wharf on your own afterwards.
Due to the hands-on nature of this workshop, class size is limited to 20 people.
We will not be going up to the top of Coit Tower as part of this tour. After the hike ends at Coit Tower, you can purchase a ride to the top for $8. Click to get advanced tickets for the Coit Tower Tour.
