For those who love Halloween, San Francisco’s nightlife offers no better way to embrace the season than the San Francisco Halloween Bar Crawl. Kicking off on Friday, October 24, 2025, this event marks the start of a four-night celebration of costumes, cocktails & good times. Pub crawlers will explore the city’s best bars, hopping between venues that promise ghoulishly good times and drink specials to match.

The crawl begins at Mayes Oyster House (1233 Polk Street). At check-in, attendees will receive their wristbands, maps & party favors to get the party started. From there, the night unfolds across a curated lineup of bars that includes favorites like El Lopo, Decodance, Uni Pizza, and McTeague’s.

Each venue along the crawl offers discounted drink specials, ensuring that your drink of choice is easy on the wallet. Whether you’re in the mood for a specialty Halloween cocktail, a beer or a shot, every stop adds its list of amazing specials.

You will find plenty of fun things to keep the energy high. Party favors, from glow sticks to Halloween accessories, will help attendees stand out in their costumes. Meanwhile, live DJs spin tracks across multiple venues, transforming bars into dance floors where you can show off your best moves.

The Find the Gnome Contest is another fun part of all CrawlSF pub crawls. Hidden gnomes are scattered throughout the participating bars and if you find one, you can win some fun prizes.

Halloween in San Francisco is an event unto itself, and the bar crawl’s kick-off night is no exception. Attendees are encouraged to wear their most creative costumes, turning the crawl into a parade of clever disguises, spooky ensembles & outright showstoppers.
