Attention voters! Hear from the candidates for District 5 San Francisco Board of Supervisors to help you vote in the November election at this League of Women Voters of San Francisco event. You must register on Eventbrite.


You'll hear candidates answer questions about policy and share their views on issues important to your community. Forums are nonpartisan, free, and open to the public.

You can attend in person or online. After the forum, a recording with closed captions will be available on LWVSF's YouTube channel.

During this forum, candidates will answer questions selected from those submitted in advance by the audience.

Location: Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (the Center/JCCCNC), 1840 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA 94115, Issei Memorial Hall (1st Floor)

Accessibility: This forum takes place in person and online. Please select how you want to attend when registering. If attending in person the forum takes place on the first floor and is wheelchair accessible.

Public transit: Muni 38/R, 1, 31, 22, 5/R - Plan your trip on Muni. Plan your trip on BART.

By car: There are two underground parking garages in the Japan Center. Entrances are on Geary between Laguna and Webster, Fillmore between Geary and Post, and Post between Webster and Buchanan. Both garages are open every day. Metered street parking is also available typically for 1-2 hours (keep your eyes open for street sweeping). Or grab a rideshare.
