San Diego's Clown Jam: Hope + Failure

Calling all clowns, physical comedians, funny weirdos, silly billies, goofs... and actors! Join us for a casual and free Clown Jam!
What is a Clown Jam, you might ask? We get together and clown around. Aaron Fischer and I will lead you in clown exercises for the first half of the meet up, and in the second half, we'll open the floor to other folks' games, explorations, and pieces. The second half is also a good time to present and share a clown and/or physical comedy piece you've been working on. We finish off by watching the sunset together.
Our theme for this Clown Jam is HOPE + FAILURE. The essence of clown work. Exploring the hope that the clown brings to the stage, how they achieve failure, and how they play with it.
TLDR:
Who? YOU!
What? Clown jam!
When? Tuesday, August 23 6-8 pm
Where? Old Trolley Barn Park, 1943 Adams Ave
Why? To have fun, ya goof!
Bring your nose if you have it! And bring a friend or two along, too!
