We invite you to join us at the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association Scholarship Fund Annual Gala. This year, our signature fundraising event will be held on Giving Tuesday (November 30,2021) at The Guilt Hotel in downtown San Diego. The SDLRLA Scholarship Fund Annual Gala draws hundreds of esteemed judges, attorneys, elected city, state and federal officials, and community leaders, to honor our awardees and celebrate our legal community.
For the past 10 years, the Scholarship Fund has awarded financial assistance to local law students that demonstrate academic achievement, community service, and financial need. Since 2007, the Scholarship Fund has awarded close to $500,000 to deserving law students through the Scholarship Fund. The scholarships are not limited to Latino students, but include those who have made important contributions to the local community. Scholarship recipients include diverse law students that exemplify tenacity.
Your donations matter. Your continued support of the Scholarship Fund assists law students when they are most at need. Bar stipend awards help to offset hefty costs and provide motivation and encouragement for law students to successfully pass the bar exam.
