Join us for the San Diego Electric Light Parade, a free monthly community bike parade celebrating unity through lights, music, and more! We welcome all riders — from roller-skaters to custom bikes, e-bikes to pedal bikes, and everything in between. It’s a rolling dance party on wheels where all people and all bikes come together as one big club.The parade kicks off at 7:30 PM, but the fun starts earlier at 5:00 PM behind lifeguard tower #13 on the Mission Beach Boardwalk. Enjoy a full day experiencing San Diego’s beautiful beachfront and amazing weather. Come early, chill with us, and meet new people!
The parade heads up the mission beach Boardwalk to pacific beach with stops at Crystal pier. Ride up garnet st to fanuel park which is stop #2 continuing along the beach bike route into mission bay & back to start of the ride.
The route is approx 8.5 miles mostly flat some hills.
Intermediate road for skaters
If you need assistance unloading your bike from a rack at the cove lots, please message us in advance for help. We also offer bike lights — arrive early for light installations!
