*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*
Hello Everyone ! This is going to be our biggest event yet
San Diego 20's is closely reaching a year since its inception. (September 3rd) I thank everyone who joined and made this community as enjoyable as possible.
I created this group with no expectations hoping I can create a small community with people in their college and post college life. I also noticed that a lot of people move here for work and have no platform to meet people in real life and it makes me so happy to see that everyone is finding their own families, business connections, new best friends, etc.
So why not continue that and celebrate our one year anniversary with another social event. But with a twist. Since you are one conversation away from finding the best people in your life and talking to strangers is REALLY hard. I've decided to implement 3 LAWS in this event.
Law 1: Instead of writing your name on your name tag: you are tasked to come up with or given two prompts
Law 2: put yourself out there and be respectful/kind.
Law 3: turn up
Ex. "Ask me about music"
" Ask me what I like about your outfit"
"Ask me about my love for Olivia Rodrigo"
"Ask me about the economic state of the world"
after a year of events with San Diego 20’s, we noticed:
*no one felt comfortable with each other
*the overall vibe was boring
*you couldn’t get lit as possible with strangers
so we created a new type of social where:
*The crowd is on the same wavelength as you through interests, hobbies, and vibes
*Everyone is guaranteed to be relaxed, respectful, and vibe.
*People can turn up whenever
because we believe it’s possible to go to a social where you actually meet people who you’d wanna hang out with.
we’re celebrating our one year and wanna see you there…meet you soon.
