Experience the vibrant celebration of diversity at San Bernardino's Pride event in 2024! Join us for a day filled with love, acceptance, and empowerment in the heart of California. With colorful scenery, electrifying performances, and inspiring speakers, this event promises an unforgettable experience for all ages. From the bustling streets to the lively stages, immerse yourself in a community that embraces every shade of the rainbow. Discover a myriad of LGBTQ+ supportive vendors showcasing unique resources, delicious food, and innovative services. Whether you're a proud member of the community or a steadfast ally, there's something for everyone to enjoy and support. Come together with friends, family, and allies to celebrate equality and unity at San Bernardino's Pride event – where love knows no bounds!
There will be live entertainment such as our second annual drag show hosted by Hunki Dori! Come see local queens give their all while serving lip sync performances. We highly suggest you bring your singles to tip the queens! Once the show is over, we will have Nubes-Caifanes (Tributo a Caifanes) take the main stage and play their cover songs until we close. DJ Commodore will be playing throughout the event setting that authentic pride atmosphere.
Resource tables will be handing out giveaway items and sharing what they provide for the community. Photo booths and games are available for everyone free of charge. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. There will be no alcohol for purchase but plenty of other tasty options.
SB24 is the second pride event put on by Welcome Home (Family Assistance Program), and the San Bernardino Parks, Recreation, and Community Services team. In honor of all the queer folk who have walked before us, we want to celebrate the diverse colors of our rainbow community.
Welcome Home is a 90-day, LGBTQIA+ focused transitional living facility in San Bernardino for 18 to 24 year olds. Their mission is to reduce recurrent homelessness among queer populations. Family Assistance Program hosts the Stop the Hate program that targets LGBTQIA2+ youth hate crimes in San Bernardino and provides resources to victims. Family Assistance Program has also adopted a drop-in center that specifically focuses on LGBTQIA2+ and BIPOC substance use dependency recovery for youth in our county as well. We are partnering with the San Bernardino Parks, Recreation, and Community Services team to bring some color to San Bernardino this June alongside their Sizzlin' Summer Pride Night concert.
The event will be held at the Roosevelt Bowl located at Perris Hill Park in San Bernardino.
