Join us on the 4th of October for an evening of exceptional music with renowned flamenco guitarist Samuel Moore at FortyFive Vinyl Cafe. Hailed as “a fantastic flamenco guitarist” by BBC Radio 3 and a First Category prize-winner in the 2023 Manhattan International Music Competition.
Join us for a fantastic intimate evening. It's fair to say this is a complete departure for us however we were so impressed with the quality of Samuels work, we wanted to showcase it to you with our fantastic sound and overall 45 ambience. Since 2007, Samuel has graced stages across the UK, Europe, and North America, performing at renowned venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall and London’s Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. His solo performances are a testament to the enduring tradition of flamenco, presenting meticulously crafted guitar sets that evoke the vibrant spirit of Andalucía.
Samuel’s extensive repertoire features traditional flamenco forms, original compositions, and masterworks by flamenco legends such as Ramón Montoya, Sabicas, and Paco de Lucía. His concerts are more than just performances; they are immersive experiences where Samuel connects deeply with the audience, offering insightful commentary on the rich culture and history of flamenco.
In 2019, Samuel released his debut album, ‘Guitar the Heart of Spain’, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. Currently, he is preparing for his first solo album, promising to bring more of his unique musical vision to the world.
Beyond his performing career, Samuel is a dedicated educator. He teaches private students via his online music school and is the principal flamenco guitar tutor at the Arpeggiato School of Music in Chicago. He is also the author of the ‘Flamenco Guitar Compás Essentials’ book series and has led workshops at prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge and Leeds Conservatoire.
