Conformation show ring time is around 2:25pm in Ring 8.Grooming seminar will begin immediately afterwards and last until around 5:00pm ET. All Sammy enthusiasts are invited. Whether you are experienced or new to the breed, come to learn and share tips and techniques. Please RSVP to this email or our Facebook event so we know how many people will be attending. Thanks!
What will be covered:
- Double coat and shedding
- Tools to use
- Combing and brushing techniques
- Nail trimming
- Proper drying
- Hands-on practice (on "demo" dogs)
Who should attend: Anyone who wants to maintain their Samoyed's coat.
Where will it be held: Lawrenceville at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
What should I bring: Bring a chair. Parking is $5 cash. Please no dogs for this event. We will have "demo" dogs on grooming tables for you to practice on.
What else will there be to see: This is in conjunction with conformation shows, Fast CAT, Rally obedience, and other performance events. Also, there will be vendors where you can shop (sometimes at lower prices than the stores).
